About NeverWas Skateboarding

You never mattered and it is better that way. You never won a contest. You never got that pro model. You are not on “flow”. You might not always reach the coping. You may be grey, or bald, or both and feel the pull of the concrete. You may be young and feel the compulsion to be weightless. You may have just started or never stopped. Still, you ride. You dream of transitions, play in ditches, ram into curbs. You listen to songs that matter only to you. You know that bearings fresh out of the package smell good. You appreciate board art. Still, you ride. This is NeverWas Skateboarding. We don’t skate for glory. We skate because it is in our blood. We love it. We appreciate it. We care for it.
